Private Personalized Tour in Osaka from Kobe Port

I had the absolute pleasure of exploring Osaka with Allysa as my tour guide, and I can’t recommend her enough! From the moment we met, she was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging. She tailored the tour perfectly to my interests, balancing history, culture, and local food experiences seamlessly. Allysa’s deep knowledge of Osaka’s rich history and hidden gems made the city come alive. Whether we were strolling through the bustling streets of Dotonbori, admiring the beauty of Osaka Castle, or savoring some of the best street food I’ve ever had, her insights and recommendations were spot on. What truly set Allysa apart was her enthusiasm and genuine passion for sharing Osaka’s culture. She answered every question with a smile, shared fascinating stories, and even taught me some helpful Japanese phrases. It felt like exploring the city with a friend rather than just a guide. If you’re visiting Osaka and want an unforgettable experience, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Allysa. She’s simply the best!

Allysa is the best!

We spent three days with Peri on tours to Nara, Osaka, and Kyoto from February 14 to 16 (2025). His service was excellent, and he was incredibly kind and attentive to everyone, especially since we used public transportation the entire time (he knows the routes and schedules very well). During the tours, he provided historical explanations of the sites we visited and shared fascinating insights about Japanese culture and customs. He also took us to traditional restaurants, explaining each dish so we could choose what we liked best. We visited the most iconic landmarks, but he also took us to lesser-known places that were either beautiful or historically significant. He always made sure the sites matched our interests, and if an entrance fee wasn’t worth it, we skipped it. It’s important to mention that the tours involve a lot of walking (about 15,000 to 20,000 steps per day), but the experience was engaging thanks to Peri’s conversations. He also took amazing photos of us and shared them afterward. I highly recommend him for your next trip to Japan. In summary: he’s knowledgeable, attentive, and ensures you have a great experience. I hope this review helps!

Our Journey to Japan

Friendly, knowledgeable. Was able to start a little earlier for us as we were in Osaka earlier than planned. Got to see Umeda Sky Building, Osaka Castle, Kuromon Market, and Dotonbori. Made several stops to shop, and sample street vendor and food stall wares. Definitely recommend takoyaki, kobe skewers, dorayaki, among other delicious foods. Great communication via Withlocals and Whatsapp. Highly recommend!

4-day tour in Kyoto, Uji, Kobe, Himeji, and Osaka.

Having Peri as our guide in Japan was the best decision. He always had the best attitude and taught us how to get around on the subway, supported us in every step we took and was always willing to change plans as many times as necessary, all with an incredible attitude. But Peri was not just a guide, he became our friend. He was also our photographer, our translator, our support at all times and even called us taxis when we needed it. He was always attentive and in contact with us when we were separated, taught us how to behave and how to make the most of our trip. I recommend him without any doubt. If I went back to Japan for the second time, I would choose him again without thinking twice. In addition, he taught us how to use our iPhone in Japan, explaining the new applications and cards needed for the subway and other means of transportation. I have even told my friends in Mexico everything Peri did for us and with us. If you ever travel to Japan, you will not regret having Peri as your guide, friend, photographer and support. Contact me if you want more information about my recommendation!
